Necessary procedures when moving to Motomiya City

Within 14 days after you decide where to live in Motomiya City, you must complete the procedures to move in (to start living in Motomiya City) at the municipal office.
Foreign nationals who plan to live in Japan for longer than three months must complete the “Resident Registration” procedure at the municipal office to obtain the “Resident Record”.The “Resident Record” contains your name and place of residence, and you will need it when you buy a vehicle or rent a house.
